J 101 - Introduction to Journalism Course: BA Communication Research Favorite book/novel: Ang Pagbabalik ni Mariang Makiling ni Will P. Ortiz. I love it because it was written in Filipino. The author is a Filipino professor in the University of the Philippines. It touches on our native beliefs as Filipinos while incorporating the story with the modern world. I also like the idea of reincarnation. Favorite film: Bad Genius (2017). It was intense and it gave lessons about cheating. Favorite media practitioner: Jessica Sojo. Even though I am a communication research student, I still aspire to be like Jessica Sojo and host a magazine show. I believe it is still possible. Favorite song: Close to You by The Carpenters. It feels good to be in love while listening to this song. Favorite internet site: Youtube, the video-sharing site. Being far from home with no TV, this is my source of entertainment. And I would like to share my own content soon. Favorite meal: Carbonara (and other pastas) because this is my mom's specialty. I have to support her. But really, I love it. Hobbies: Talking with friends, dancing, singing, acting, modeling, reading and watching series and films.
