Dedicated to learning as much as possible about as much as possible. Chris earned honors college admittance his first semester at The University of Illinois. After gifted journey through departments of electron microscopy, molecular biology, and environmental chemistry Chris learned the hard way how being the subject of bad press can have a negative effect on a PhD candidate - no matter how unearned that bad press might be. Chris earned multiple awards as a Critical Care Nurse, a flight nurse, ER nurse, and Interventiinal Lab Nurse. Chris became a pilot in the early 2000's. He enjoyed learning this new view on a world he saw as wonderful and beautiful. Chris was quite proud of his mother - for many reasons but especially that she chose to deal with her stress of the fire by becoming a firefighter herself. A firefighter paramedic was pretty much a pre-determined fate for Chris' career plan. It was hard work but fun. As a police officer Chris was invited early in his career to learn from world-class operators. After quick promotion, and an accelerated rise through the ranks - although not of the department that was of his childhood fantasies. It was even better. Being surprised at your own success is a true gift in life.
