Evan Geller is a retired surgeon and former New Yorker. He is happily married and the father of three extraordinarily pleasant children. His writing includes multiple works of both fiction and non-fiction, as well as his ongoing blog addressing such varied topics as surgical training, health care, writing, and philosophy. He is the founder and president of ParaSurgical Systems Corp., a startup company developing the world's first high-fidelity robotic surgical simulator.
