Golden Matonga is an award-winning journalist, columnist and blogger based in Malawi’s capital Lilongwe. He was named Malawi's Blogger of The Year in 2017, 2018 and 20019 and Columnist of the year 2018. He writes for Malawi's Nation Publications Limited and several reputable international media outlets. He blogs on Malawi’s socio-political scene; drawing lessons from his sojourns as a journalist and personal life and work as an Investigative Journalist for Nation Publications Limited. He has also done commissioned work for a number of international media outlets including UK-based Telegraph and EFE, a major multimedia news agency in Spanish and the world’s fourth largest wire service after the Associated Press, Reuters and Agence France-Presse.
