JKL Martin is a reader, writer, antiques collector (and seller), researcher, retired elementary school librarian rooted in a small town in the Midwest where she escapes to historical landscapes alive in her imagination and tries to capture them on the written page. Member of RWA since 2011 Romance stories overwhelm her ereaders and her bookshelves but she is just as likely to borrow the latest teen fantasy, contemporary realism, humor, history, or self-help analysis book. Her library card is easier to find than her driver's license since she uses it so much more. Married for forty years to a Ph.D. she adores for his humor, his brain, and his tenacity. (She also thinks he is cute.) She has three grown children who interpret, and always answer, her abbreviated and misspelled texts with patience. eg.
