Nancy Au

I am a queer, bisexual writer, artist, and teacher living in Oakland, California. My writing appears in FRiGG, Gone Lawn, Tahoma Literary Review, Lunch Ticket, Pithead Chapel, The Pinch, Beloit Fiction Journal, Hermeneutic Chaos Journal, SmokeLong Quarterly, The Journal of Compressed Creative Arts, Liminal Stories, Forge Literary Magazine, among others. I was awarded the Spring Creek Project collaborative residency (Oregon State University). I have an MFA from San Francisco State University where I taught creative writing. I teach creative and science writing at California State University Stanislaus, and am co-founder of The Escapery (https://escapery.org). My work has been nominated for The Best Small Fictions, and the Best of the Net anthologies.
