Stories and narratives inspired by discoveries I have made in my genealogical research are featured in my blog Talking Leaves. The primary focus of my other blog, Perfect Pitch, is the teamwork involved in performing in a professional symphony orchestra and in playing Major League Baseball. I recently retired from my position of Second Oboe of the MET Orchestra after having played at the Metropolitan Opera for thirty-one years. I have been a New York Mets full-season ticket holder since 2006.
