As a 1st grade teacher and educator effectiveness coach, I strive to collaborate with others to help them learn and focus on what is key in teaching. I am in the process of completing my Reading 316 licensure, and I am excited about balanced literacy, disciplinary literacy, and ways to make a child's day connect from start to finish. Rather than being overwhelmed with seemingly endless ideas and possibilities in teaching, I hope to help others simplify their teaching and teach their students to dig deeply and take ownership in their learning.
