I believe the purpose of learning is to improve oneself, whether it is for personal gain or the workforce. I welcome diversity as an opportunity to grow and learn about other cultures. I apply diverse philosophies to the standard pedological approaches. I believe that everyone is capable of using their own culture, prior experiences, and ideas, to make connections and find inspiration for their craft. My approach to creative writing is to hopefully inspire others to find their voice as they become the writers of influence in the next generation. As a native New Englander, I love the four seasons. There is nothing more tranquil than watching snowfall on an early winter morning as the drifting flakes float to the ground and cling to the bare branches. Spring brings birdsongs that welcome the diverse creatures as they emerge from their winter slumber and finally meet the cordial summer season. Autumn always brings the earth full circle as a colorful palette of foliage paints the landscape with its vibrant hues! I love New England and find inspiration in its rich history. I hope to express my passion for creative writing and share my knowledge through the many seasons.
