I have 25+ years of experience in cost estimating of lump sum EPC onshore oil & gas and more recently transition energy projects such as 2nd and 3rd generation SAF plants. I have worked with the multinational operator BP, engineering companies such as CB&I, Foster Wheeler & Technip and more recently have worked with Velocys, a Sustainable Aviation Fuel technology licensor company. I am based in London and have started this new consultancy to provide estimating services specifically to support the energy transition & cleantech projects in their early stages of development. I am passionate about estimating as a discipline and have been a member of Controls & Skills Authority UK (previously ACostE) since 2005 and a member of AACE International since 2011. I am also a Certified Estimating Professional as certified by AACE International since 2014 (https://bcert.me/sksfbske). I possess a deep understanding of the low carbon technologies, their economic & funding modelling, their legal & social consequences and have been thinking of utilising my skills to fruitfully contribute to the energy transition. I bring all my experience and enthusiasm into any business by helping to keep costs / estimating in the forefront of all engineering effort / discussions, helping with optimising the designs, providing cost inputs into various investment decisions and Business Development discussions and proposals. I have the expertise to bring together different disciplines from engineering, to supply chain, to project management, to finance etc. to inform the development of estimating tools and practices to support any business needs. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Warangal, India since 1998 and a Master of Science in Energy degree from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, UK since 2024.
